Job summary

Navistar, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor for our San Antonio Plant. You will lead the Main Paint Center within Body and Paint, guiding up to 50 hourly associates and driving safety, quality, and productivity.

Initially on Day Shift with a planned transition to Night Shift as production ramps in mid-2027. The role requires a strong leader who develops people, solves problems, and delivers operating excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of production/manufacturing experience.
• Master's degree with 1+ year of production/manufacturing experience.
• At least 5 years of production/manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Champion a strong safety culture and drive continuous safety improvements across the department.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of up to 50 hourly employees to achieve their full potential.
• Drive quality, productivity, and operational performance to meet and exceed business goals.
• Manage staffing and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to solve problems and improve processes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain standard work instructions and operating procedures.
• Foster employee engagement and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the team.
• Lead problem-solving efforts, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented and sustained.
