Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Wichita, KS, is seeking a Painting Operator to support aerospace finishing operations. You will prepare surfaces, mix paints, and keep work areas organized and aligned with safety standards.

This role involves standing for long periods, handling painting materials, and recording materials usage and time. The shift runs Friday to Sunday 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, 36 hours paid as 40.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in paint is a plus, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity; ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.

• Assist in mixing paints and coatings according to formulas and instructions.

Valence Surface Technologies is a full-service surface finishing company specializing in the commercial aerospace, defense, space and satellite industries. With ten strategically located sites across the United States, Valence provides a start to finish solution from NDT and chemical processing, to paint and sub-assembly.

Shift Schedule Friday - Sunday 6:00AM - 6:30PM, 36 hours, paid for 40.
