Job summary

Leading Technology Composites in Wichita, KS is seeking an Aerospace and Vehicle Defense Parts Painter to join our manufacturing team. The role involves surface preparation, applying paint with spray equipment, and ensuring products meet quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Two shifts are available with stated hours.

Prior painting experience is preferred. The position is paid hourly; overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in painting or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of painting techniques and tools
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Pay is based on prior related experience in this field - paid hourly

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Assist with other tasks as needed
  • At times, work in temperatures over 90 degrees
  • Fast-paced work environment
  • Dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with environmental laws and company regulations

Aerospace and Vehicle Defense Parts Painter

1 st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6AM-3:30PM & Friday 6AM-10AM

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30AM-1AM & Friday 11AM-2PM

Responsibilities:

  • Mix ratios for a variety of paint
  • Operate, use and clean a spray gun, HVLP and pressure pot
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking
  • Apply paint using various techniques, including spray guns, and brushes
  • Ensure that all painted products meet quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Assist with other tasks as needed
  • At times, work in temperatures over 90 degrees
