Job summary

Oregon Veterans Home in The Dalles is offering a paid CNA training program that covers tuition and certification costs. You’ll start earning immediately while you learn, with classroom pay at $15/hour and a wage increase after graduation.

The program runs on-site in a skilled nursing facility and lasts less than 6 weeks, with full-time placement upon certification. Upon certification, you’ll enter a full-time role with wage progression, benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance,

Nursing Assistant – Training Program & Certification

Full-Time, Paid Training Program with pathway to Permanent Employment

Location: The Dalles Oregon Veterans Home

The Oregon Veterans Home in The Dalles is offering a unique opportunity to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) through a paid training program, with all tuition and certification costs covered. PAYMENT INCLUDES

Start employment on the day you begin classes and be paid for all hours while attending! $15.00/hour during classroom portion, a pay increase after graduation, and $22.86/hour after state certification with annual, union bargain increases guaranteed. Employment will be considered temporary (without benefits) until course completion.
