Job summary

Oregon Veterans Home in The Dalles is offering a paid CNA training program that covers tuition and certification costs. You’ll start earning immediately while you learn, with classroom pay at $15/hour and a wage increase after graduation.

The program runs on-site in a skilled nursing facility and lasts less than 6 weeks, with full-time placement upon certification. Upon certification, you’ll enter a full-time role with wage progression, benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance,

Qualifications

• Passion for serving veterans and older adults.
• Interest in launching a healthcare career.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and eager to learn.
• No prior certification required. We’ll train you!
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Commitment to complete training and gain Oregon CNA certification.
• Willingness to work for OVH one year after certification.
• Must be able to work evening shift (2-10pm) after graduation until other shifts are available.
• Compassionate attitude and strong work ethic.
