Job summary

The Oregon Veterans Home in The Dalles seeks a Transportation CNA to help residents reach medical appointments and outings safely while providing compassionate care and support.

As a Transportation CNA, you will drive residents, escort them to activities, and assist with basic caregiving tasks, fostering trust and connection with those you serve.

Qualifications

• Must graduate of accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification in Oregon.
• Must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work weekends and nights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents safely to medical appointments and outings.
• Provide compassionate caregiving and safety support during transportation.
• Build relationships with residents and assist with daily activities as needed.

As a Transportation CNA, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our Veteran residents arrive safely and comfortably to medical appointments and outings while providing compassionate care and support along the way. This unique position combines safe transportation with meaningful, hands‑on caregiving, allowing you to make a difference every day. Requirements
