Job summary

Ecolab's Pest Elimination team is hiring a Pest Control Technician Trainee in Topeka, KS. You will participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection and elimination techniques and work with commercial customers to identify and solve pest needs.

You'll gain certifications and a path toward service, sales, or management, with a day shift and full-time schedule. A Real ID or acceptable ID is required for travel during training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• Willing to work overnight shifts, on-call weekends.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pest certification or business licensing per state/local law.
• Background check and drug test required after offer.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques in training.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice.
• Partner with customers to identify pest elimination needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Ecolab's products and services.
• Document issues using handheld equipment and provide high-quality service under supervision.
