Job summary

Ecolab's Pest Elimination team is hiring a Pest Control Technician Trainee in Stevens Point, WI. You will learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques through a dedicated 5-week paid training program and may pursue required certifications to advance in service, sales, or management.

This full-time role involves a Monday–Friday schedule (4am–noon on a bread route) with occasional travel to Eagan, MN for training, and requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of work or military experience.
Current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
Availability to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends as needed.
Must be 18+ years old.
Obtain pest certification and/or business licensing per state/local law.

Responsibilities

Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
Establish relationships with commercial customers, including hospitality and foodservice sectors.
Partner with customers on best practices to identify pest elimination needs.
Maintain knowledge of Ecolab's products/services to enhance service and sales.
Document issues using handheld equipment; deliver high-quality service under supervision.
