Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is recruiting for Fleet Services' FleeTec Academy to train aspiring Diesel Technicians. You will receive free education on diesel fundamentals, a toolbox, and paid travel to the campus, with a weekly stipend.

The four-week classroom phase is followed by hands-on training with a Lead Technician, leading to a full-time Mobile Diesel Mechanic job in your market. Pay starts with hourly rates and increases on graduation.

Qualifications

• Willingness to study hard for four weeks at the Academy campus.
• Dedicate 4 weeks away from home for the program.
• Background checks, driving records checks, pre-employment drug testing and physical.
• Desire to become a Mobile Diesel Technician with Cox Automotive.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 4 weeks of paid classroom training with expenses covered.
• Be paired with a Lead Technician for hands-on training.
• Earn a full-time job offer upon successful completion of the program.
• Work as a Mobile Diesel Technician at customer sites, performing preventative maintenance and repairs.
