Challenge Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with disabilities in Edwardsville, IL. No experience required; paid training provided. Full-time shifts include 2pm-10pm, 3pm-11pm, and 4pm-12am with weekends and some holidays included.

Responsibilities include ADLs assistance, medication support, transportation, documentation, and fostering a home-like environment. Benefits offered.

Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid, CPI training required or provided.
• Must be proficient with computer and typing.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including hygiene, dressing, meals, housekeeping and laundry.
• Support medication administration and monitor health and safety.
• Maintain a safe living environment and perform related tasks (cleaning, snow shoveling).
• Provide transportation to appointments, shopping, and community events.
• Document services, progress, behaviors, and health information accurately.
• Follow medication procedures and safety standards.
