Job summary

Blue Ridge Haulers seeks an entry-level CDL-A Reefer Driver with paid training in North Carolina. Trainees earn $650 per week during training and advance to solo driving earning $1,300–$1,500 per week. Expect 1,900–2,500 miles weekly, with day and night shifts and home time every two weeks.

After training, a rider program is available for approved passengers and one dog under 40 lbs. Medical, prescription, dental, and vision plans are offered along with other benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 120 hours from an accredited truck driving school.
• CDL-A trainees with less than 6 months of recent driving experience are welcome.
• Solid employment history without major unemployment gaps.
• Must pass a DOT-compliant pre-employment drug test.
• Must meet all driver qualification and hiring requirements.
• Must be available for day/night driving and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Operate reefer tractor-trailer with solo miles after training.
• Deliver and pick up loads on time while maintaining safety standards.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Participate in paid training; transition to solo driver after training.
