Job summary

LCS offers a Business Applications Training Internship, a full-time 12-week program from May through August, with 40 hours per week. Interns will gain hands-on experience on meaningful projects, culminating in a presentation to senior leadership.

The program provides broad exposure to the organization and its operations. Interns will work on content development, training delivery, and LMS administration, among other responsibilities, and will be paid at a competitive hourly rate of $22.50/hour.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Education, Instructional Design, or Technical Writing.
• Able to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the 12-week program.
• Familiarity with e-learning tools, content authoring software, and LMS platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Content Development: assist in creating and maintaining technical training materials.
• Training Delivery: support rollout plans and facilitate sessions (in-person/virtual).
• LMS Administration: help upload materials, track participation, generate reports.
• Needs Assessment: identify training needs via data and stakeholder input.
• Quality Assurance: review training content for accuracy and relevance.
• Project Support: assist in planning and coordinating training-related projects.
• Research: stay updated on trends in technical training and e-learning.
• Measurement and Feedback: collaborate on weekly milestone updates.
