Job summary

LCS invites you to join its Business Applications Internship, a full-time 12-week program running May through August. You will work on meaningful projects, gain exposure to senior leadership, and participate in trainings with the team, all while contributing to the organization’s operations.

You’ll collaborate across departments, receive mentorship, and present your project outcomes at the end of the internship, with a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a college or university program.
• Minimum of 2 years completed towards bachelor’s degree in MIS or related field.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a mission-driven organization.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the 12-week program.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to real projects that will be implemented within the organization.
• Collaborate with leaders and team members across departments.
• Participate in professional development and networking opportunities.
• Present your project and summer experience to the senior leadership team at the conclusion of the internship.
• Gain a broad understanding of our industry and operations through mentorship, training, and shadowing opportunities.
• Develop business case for assignment. Clearly stating the business value, resources needed and key milestones for project.
• Work closely with manager on weekly updates against key milestones.
• Develop rollout plan with IT and business users.
• Reconcile the success of the project against original business case.
