Job summary

The Business Applications Internship at LCS is a full-time, 12-week program running May through August, offering a hands-on experience with real projects and mentorship. Interns will rotate through cross-department collaborations, participate in trainings, and present outcomes to senior leadership at the end of the internship.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college or university program.
• Minimum of 2 years completed towards MIS or related degree.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills.
• Available for 40 hours/week throughout the 12-week program.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to real projects that will be implemented within the organization.
• Collaborate with leaders and team members across departments.
• Participate in professional development and networking opportunities.
• Present your project and summer experience to the senior leadership team at the conclusion of the internship.
• Gain a broad understanding of our industry and operations through mentorship, training, and shadowing opportunities.
• Develop business case for assignment, stating business value, resources, and milestones.
• Work closely with manager on weekly updates against milestones.
• Develop rollout plan with IT and business users.
• Reconcile the success of the project against original business case.
