Total Foodservice Group (TFG) invites you to join the Tech Track Internship in Birmingham, AL. This paid program provides hands-on training, mentorship from senior technicians, and field and shop experience to develop commercial kitchen equipment skills.

You will learn preventative maintenance, diagnostic skills, installations, and safety practices while preparing for a potential full-time Service Technician role after completion.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and 21+ to operate company vehicles.
• Willingness to travel within territory with mentor technician.
• Enrollment in or completion of a technical/trade program.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians in preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and gas equipment issues.
• Assist with equipment installation and repairs under supervision.
• Document repairs and service activities clearly and accurately.
• Follow safety procedures and work with professional communication.
