Job summary

Total Foodservice Group (TFG) is seeking motivated individuals for the TFG Tech Track Internship Program in Louisiana and South Mississippi. This paid internship provides hands-on training alongside seasoned Service Technicians to develop the skills needed for a career in commercial kitchen equipment service.

As a Tech Track Intern, you will learn preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and gas issues, install and repair equipment, and document repairs.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude or interest in hands-on work.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory with a mentor.
• Prior hands-on experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians while building knowledge in preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Learn to read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Document repairs and service activities accurately.
