Job summary

Cagayan State University in collaboration with RubinBrown invites students for a paid Tax Internship in Denver. You will assist in processing and organizing tax documents, entering data into tax systems, and maintaining deadlines in a collaborative team across RubinBrown offices nationwide.

The role targets current undergraduates pursuing accounting or related fields, with strong attention to detail, familiarity with databases, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment as a sophomore, junior, or senior college student pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business information/analytics, information systems, business administration, or a related field
• Basic understanding of databases, data structures, and data management principles
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Interest in public accounting, tax, or operational support roles

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing and assembling tax documents (individual, business, payroll, 1099s, and estimate vouchers)
• Scan, organize, and prepare original client documents for digital workflow (1040s and 1041s)
• Input data into tax return systems using software tools
• Perform data quality checks to identify and correct inaccuracies
• Maintain tracking of deadlines and workflow accuracy
• Collaborate with Tax Production teams across RubinBrown offices nationwide
• Support general administrative tasks and other assigned duties
