RubinBrown LLP is seeking an intern to assist in state & local tax compliance, research, and consulting projects. You will help prepare various tax returns, gather supporting docs, and conduct research in a collaborative environment.

Preferred candidates are junior/senior students with introductory accounting courses, a background in tax, and strong MS Office skills. On-site role in Colorado with practical, hands-on experience and training.

Formación

• Junior or Senior status in program
• Introductory accounting courses completed
• Prior completion of Tax class preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparing state & local income/franchise, sales/use, and other tax returns
• Gather and organize supporting documentation for filings and audits
• Conduct research on state & local tax laws, regulations, and rulings
• Respond to state and local tax notices, audits, or inquiries
• Assist with data entry, reconciliation, and analysis using Excel or tax software
• Collaborate with tax team and participate in internal training on state & local tax concepts
