Job summary

SPX Technologies seeks a Sustaining Engineer Intern to support the engineering team’s continuous improvement efforts, document design changes, and help improve product quality and performance. You’ll gain hands-on experience and collaborate with cross‑functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, QA and customer support.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a mechanical focus.
• Second year of engineering studies completed.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-direction.
• Authorized to work in the US; company will not sponsor.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update technical documentation, including product specifications, reports, and submittals.
• Evaluate product issues and improvements to support engineering change requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality assurance, customer support) to complete projects.
• Learn products to assist in product change reviews.
• Lead other projects as assigned or proposed by you.
