Job summary

SPX Technologies, Patterson-Kelley division, is seeking a Sustaining Engineer Intern in East Stroudsburg, PA. You will assist the engineering team in continuous improvement efforts, documenting design changes, and supporting product specifications.

This internship provides exposure to cross-functional manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer support, with CAD/Creo work and hands-on engineering experience for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, with a 3.0 GPA or higher and

Qualifications

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
High problem-solving skills and self-direction.
Engineering student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical.
Company will not provide sponsorship for position. Must be eligible to work in US.
Familiarity with technical drawings, mechanical aptitude, and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and update technical documentation, including product specifications, reports, and submittals, to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information
Evaluate product issues and improvements to help develop engineering change requests
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer/sales support to complete projects
Learn products to assist in product change reviews
Lead other projects as assigned or proposed by you
