Job summary

SPX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support the testing of prototype products, assist with documentation, and help assemble and test alpha units for the upcoming product release.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, are in their third year with a 3.0+ GPA, and are eligible to work in the United States. SPX does not provide sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications

• Student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• Must be eligible to work in the US; sponsorship not provided.
• Third year of engineering studies completed.

Responsibilities

• Support Mechanical Engineering with testing prototype products before release.
• Assist with documentation, assembly and testing of alpha units for upcoming product release.
• Help with beta testing using lab, terrarium, and in-pipe testing tools.
• Contribute to design and analysis tasks as assigned; lead other projects as needed.
