Job summary

SMS group is inviting students for a 12-week, full-time internship in Pittsburgh, PA, with paid hourly compensation. You will own a real project, guided by a department lead and a mentor, and rotate through Discovery Sessions across Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Safety.

Site tours, networking events, and a final Capstone presentation to SMS leadership cap off the program. Open to current students in engineering, technical, or business fields who show initiative and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Own a real project in your department, backed by a dedicated Department Lead and a 1:1 mentor.
• Explore the whole company through weekly cross-functional Discovery Sessions with departments like Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Safety.
• Get out of the office for site tours, global networking, and team events.
• Cap the summer by presenting your work to SMS leadership at the August Capstone.
