Job summary

Advantage Steel & Construction, LLC seeks motivated students for a paid Summer Internship program. The 12-week rotation runs from May 2027 to August 2027, with flexible dates, at our corporate office in Saxonburg, PA, or in the field across Western Pennsylvania and Buffalo, NY.

Interns gain hands-on construction project management experience, collaborate with industry experts, and learn the business side of construction.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Safety or a similar field.
• Willingness to work in both office and field environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must be willing to travel (per diem/lodging provided per company policy).

Responsibilities

• Coordinating projects and activities.
• Preparing project reports.
• Cost computation and preparing estimates.
• Analyzing blueprints, proposals, and labor estimates.
• Following safety procedures and standards.
