Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is seeking a 2027 summer intern to learn about the nation’s central banking system and contribute to a variety of projects. You’ll be matched with a department, participate in cohort workshops, and build your professional network during a 12-week program.

The internship runs May 24, 2027 to August 13, 2027, with a 40-hour work week and pay of $23.00 per hour. On-site presence is required, and immigration sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree; you must be enrolled when applying.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and willingness to learn new tools.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating capital construction projects with internal and external partners.
• Supporting preventive maintenance planning and work order coordination.
• Assisting with BAS and IWMS implementation and documentation.
• Supporting building operations, asset organization, and space management activities.
