Job summary
Freeport-McMoRan offers a skilled-trade internship designed for students enrolled in an associate degree or certification program and recent graduates in North America. Qualifications
- Ability to understand, apply and communicate verbal and written work and safety-related instructions in English.
- Must be able to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Removal, repair, and installation of electrical components and basic to intermediate troubleshooting.
- Safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs.
- Preventative maintenance, installation, and repair of industrial electrical and/or instrumentation equipment.
- Troubleshooting of industrial electrical and/or instrumentation equipment.
- Basic instrumentation maintenance & calibration activities.
- Safe operation of maintenance mobile equipment.
- Work area and equipment safety inspections.
- Perform other duties as required.
