Job summary

Aramark is offering a Student Hospitality Manager (SHMP) internship designed to give students hands-on leadership experience in hospitality operations while they are in school. The program provides mentorship, exposure to dining, retail, catering, and events, and opportunities to contribute to campus projects.

The internship is hourly, with a flexible schedule around classes, and runs for the academic year (Fall + Spring).

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course before or during first year.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be a student at the Aramark location.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations (opening, closing, and service execution).
• Work directly with managers and a dedicated mentor.
• Assist with training and team development.
• Gain exposure to dining, retail, catering, and events.
• Contribute to campus events, guest experience initiatives, and marketing efforts.
• Learn how to lead in real-world situations.
