Job summary

Macy's offers an 8-week Store Management Internship Program that is nationwide and on-site, running from June through August 2027. You will gain exposure to customer service, merchandising, business analysis, visual presentation, store operations, and human resources, while learning from store leadership.

You'll shadow managers, develop merchandising initiatives, coach colleagues, analyze trends, and present a project to leadership.

Qualifications

• In your junior year, pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• All majors considered for this internship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with store leadership to learn leadership best practices.
• Shadow Operations and Visual Merchandising to plan merchandising initiatives.
• Engage with leaders across business functions within your store and region.
• Coach and develop colleagues to create a customer-focused selling environment.
• Help support and ensure smooth daily store operations through training and coaching.
• Analyze trends with partners to select merchandise meeting customer needs.
• Participate in analyzing big-picture retail strategies and growth ideas.
