Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is offering a Software Engineering Internship at the Franksville, WI site. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience with real-time controls and protective relays using .NET and C#.

This twelve-week, paid internship provides exposure to UI design, software development, testing, and CI pipeline participation within Eaton's multi-disciplinary engineering team at the Thomas A. Edison Technical Center in Franksville.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in or completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science with graduation date no earlier than December 2027.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 or above.
• Immigration sponsorship or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT not offered by Eaton.
• Residence within 50 miles of the Franksville, WI site.

Responsabilités

• Develop interface software for high performance, real-time controls and protective relays using .NET and C#.
• Translate product and interface requirements into software stories and unit tests.
• Contribute to planning, estimation, programming, testing, peer reviews, and release activities.
• Support software subsystems design, implementation, and CI/CD integration.
• Participate in design and code reviews and contribute to documentation.
