Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required within 1 year of employment.
• Other certifications may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and care as ordered by providers; document care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response; notify provider of adverse events.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to provide exceptional care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up steps.
