LewisGale Medical Center is offering a year-long HCA Healthcare Residency Program designed to transition students into a registered nurse role with hands-on experiences and dedicated mentorship. The RN Resident will work under nurse leaders and collaborate with a clinical education team to develop critical skills and confidence.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
• RN licensure in the state and a nursing degree from an accredited program are required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered; document care promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic responses; notify provider if needed.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to deliver exceptional care.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up steps.
