Job summary

Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, TX, offers a paid HCA Healthcare RN Residency Program to support newly graduated nurses making the transition to a registered nurse. The year-long experience combines hands-on clinical training, monthly education sessions, preceptorship, and mentor- ship from experienced nurse leaders within a supportive team.

The program emphasizes evidence-based practice projects and collaborative care, with a Fall 2026 cohort in Critical Care among available specialties.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS within 1 year of employment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
• Some travel may be needed for training.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic response.
• Provide exceptional care by promptly addressing patient requests.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
