Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Retail Management Intern in Tenafly, NJ for a 10-week paid program. You will gain hands-on experience leading a retail team, engaging customers, and learning store operations.

You will work with Store Managers and District Leaders, complete a business-focused project, and present recommendations to leadership. The internship offers market travel exposure and real-world impact on customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program.
• Expected degree between May 2027 and May 2028.
• Majors include Business Management/Administration, Hospitality, Entrepreneurship, Retail Studies, General Business.
• Available to work 35 hours per week for the full 10-week program with a flexible schedule (days, evenings, weekends).
• 1–3 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment (retail, food service, hospitality, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a retail team and engage directly with customers.
• Learn day-to-day operations alongside Store Managers and District Leaders.
• Complete a business-focused project and present findings to leadership.
• Support operational activities: merchandise handling, inventory management, and stocking during busy periods.
• Gain leadership skills and exposure to the broader organization through market travel experiences.
