Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. invites students to join the Embark 2027 Summer Internship at our Kansas City headquarters. The 11-week program offers real-world product management experience, with roles in business management, product management, CS, and analytics, aligning with your field of study.

You will work May 17, 2027 – July 30, 2027, with onsite amenities, stipends, and PTO during Reboot Week. Mentoring and structured guidance foster growth in Agile and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Support product discovery by researching customer needs and identifying opportunities that align with business goals.
• Assist in writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria to guide engineering and design work.
• Participate in product planning and ceremonies, helping manage the product backlog and prioritize features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time and with quality.
• Use data and metrics to evaluate product performance and support data-driven decision making.
• Engage in professional development to build product management, Agile, and collaboration skills.
• Interns will be provided with significant guidance and mentoring but will also be encouraged to work independently as well.
