H&R Block, Inc. is offering the Embark 2027 Summer Internship at our downtown Kansas City headquarters.

The program targets students in Recruiting, Recruitment Marketing, Project Management, or Talent Acquisition for an 11-week paid internship from May 17, 2027 to July 30, 2027. You will gain real-world experience, with housing stipends for those living >50 miles away, and exposure to talent acquisition projects, campaigns, and program-wide workshops across four pillars: Professional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pursuing degree in HR/Communications/Public Relations with GPA 3.0+.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in diverse team and independently.
• Fast learner with ability to adapt to new software and databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide sourcing and screening support for corporate positions.
• Support candidate sourcing and outreach to build talent pipelines.
• Assist with reviewing applications and identifying candidates.
• Help provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
• Assist recruiters with role intake, interview coordination, and recruiting activities.
• Communicate with candidates and hiring teams to provide updates.
• Contribute to Talent Acquisition projects including recruitment marketing and sourcing initiatives.
• Use social media and professional networking platforms to support sourcing and employer brand awareness.
• Assist with tracking and analyzing recruiting data and metrics to identify trends.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition teams on recruiting programs and process improvements.
