Job summary

The American Red Cross in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking Blood Collection Staff – Customer Service to support mobile blood drives and donor care. Training is provided, no prior medical experience is required, and staff assist with transport, setup, and safety at each site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and friendly environment to encourage donors to return.
• Be detail-oriented to ensure collected blood meets goals and safety requirements.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and assist with setup and teardown at donation sites.
