Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by reviewing prescriptions and coordinating with the care team.
• Develops nursing care plans by assessing patients and documenting status.
• Teaches healthcare requirements to patients and families about condition, medications, and self-care.
• Evaluates care by comparing to standards and re-evaluating objectives.
• Maintains infection-control, medication handling, and safety policies.
• Documents patient care in charts and department records.
• Keeps equipment and supplies ready and available for patient care.
• Supports nursing capabilities during training under mentorship.
