Job summary

MED Institute Inc. in West Lafayette, Indiana, invites applications for a 16‑week Co-op in Engineering starting Jan 2027. The role targets students enrolled in an engineering BS or higher. Requires strong work ethic, good communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a BS (or advanced degree) program in engineering, engineering technology, engineering science or equivalent experience.
• Conscientious person with good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Engineers to plan, complete and report results of experiments, tests, prototype development, literature surveys, etc.
• Provide support to other team members upon request and where reasonable.
• Ask questions and learn about client expectations while driving towards scientific excellence.
• Work with engineers to define tasks.
• Follow procedures pertinent to tasks being performed.
• Ensure documentation is kept detailing project history (reports, notebooks, disclosures, literature, notes, deliverables).
