IMEG Corp in Philadelphia, PA, is offering a Mechanical Engineering Co-op internship for Summer 2027. You will assist with design portions of mechanical systems, research equipment, and coordinate among disciplines, gaining hands-on experience in a 3–12 month program.

The role is 100% paid, hybrid, and mentored with a clear path to full-time. Strong collaboration with experienced engineers across education-sector projects is expected, with emphasis on client expectations and project goals.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years toward a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong interest in design consulting and ability to communicate clearly.
• Proficient with MS Office and AutoCAD/BIM software.

Responsibilities

• Assist design portions of discipline-system projects per code and IMEG standards.
• Research available equipment resources.
• Support client relations, project design notebooks, and documentation.
• Coordinate design and schedules across disciplines.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress.
• Review project documents for accuracy before final check.
• Prepare and issue addendum information.
• Conduct periodic job-site observations.
