Job summary

Continental Properties is seeking a Summer 2027 Market Research Intern to support multifamily market research from the home office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You will work with development teams to analyze market data and assist in rent positioning for new projects.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with ArcGIS is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide market research support to development teams and the market research team.

• Research and deliver reports/maps of the multifamily supply pipeline using multiple sources.

Continental Properties is looking for a Summer 2027 Market Research Intern to join our team of dedicated professionals at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. This position works closely with the multifamily development teams to facilitate a wide variety of activities associated with commercial real estate market research.

Position Specifics

• Full-Time Internship during Summer 2027
• Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide market research support to the development teams and the market research team
• Communicate directly with comparable multifamily properties to verify competitive positioning and ensure data accuracy
• Proactively coordinate with dealmaker and market research analyst to assist in rent positioning for potential projects
• Research, understand, and provide reports/maps of the multifamily supply pipeline for development projects using multiple sources and methods including third-party reports, media reports, municipal websites, municipal meeting minutes, and directly contacting municipal officials as needed
• Assist with data preparation and management for creating/updating reports in Power Bi

Skills For Success

• Student in progress of obtaining Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business, Economics, Geospatial Science or related field
• Solid proficiency with Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Power BI, etc.)
• Familiarity with ArcGIS desired but not critical
