Job summary

Continental Properties is looking for a Summer 2027 Construction Intern to join our Construction team at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

You will work closely with our Construction project team while participating directly in the real estate development and construction management process of our rental housing communities. You will gain hands-on experience in both Preconstruction and Field Execution areas of Construction.

Qualifications

• Currently a student of Junior or Senior standing enrolled in an Engineering, Construction Management, or related program.
• Available to work 40 hours per week during the Summer.
• Interest in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction: Research codes, permits, and fees.
• Preconstruction: Assist with early budgets and estimates.
• Field Execution: Visit active job sites and join inspection walks.
• Field Execution: Uphold code requirements and quality standards.
• Field Execution: Track project documents and assist with managing consultants.

• Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
