Job summary

Ruppert Landscape offers a 10-12 week Landscape Maintenance Internship designed to give you a hands-on, well-rounded experience in field operations and branch activities. You will learn through field training, shadowing, mentorship, and leadership development while contributing to real projects in a fast-paced commercial landscape environment.

Participants gain exposure to Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership, with options to specialize later in the program

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Candidates must be actively pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
• Interest in working in a team-oriented, customer-focused industry with a willingness to support a variety of operational needs.
• Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds as part of routine job duties.
• Proficient in the use of computers and common software applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Field Training across multiple areas of field operations.
• Job Shadowing with teams in Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
• Dedicated Mentorship guiding progress with regular feedback.
• Management & Leadership Development exposure to team building, etiquette, communication, and leadership best practices.
• Collaborative Team Environment with meaningful projects and teamwork.
• Professional Networking to build relationships within Ruppert Landscape.
• Intern Choice Experience offering additional training in a department of choice at program end.
• Final Presentation to share internship experiences, projects, and lessons learned.
