Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is offering a Landscape Maintenance Internship that provides hands-on field training, mentorship, and leadership development across Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership. You will work with crews and mentors to build practical skills and industry knowledge.

The program runs 10–12 weeks from May to August 2027, with a focus on field operations and office support. Top performers may be considered for future opportunities in the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Actively pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to support a variety of operational needs in a team-oriented setting.
• Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds as part of routine duties.
• Proficient with computers and common software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on field training across multiple areas of field operations.
• Job shadowing with Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
• Dedicated mentorship with regular feedback and professional development.
• Exposure to team-building, professional etiquette, communication, and leadership best practices.
• Collaborative work with interns on meaningful projects and department tasks.
• Opportunity to gain exposure to local branch events and networking.
• Internship duration through May–August 2027 with potential for future opportunities.
