Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is seeking a Hospitality & Catering Intern for Summer 2027 (May–August). The role rotates through accounts in Stamford, CT, Norwalk, CT, and Manhattan, NYC, offering hands-on experience in a dynamic food service and hospitality culture.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college/university pursuing a Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts degree. The position pays $20.00 per hour, with free meals, uniforms, and laundering at select locations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college/university pursuing a Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts degree.
• GPA requirement for Internship and completion of Intro to Hospitality coursework.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through different roles depending on location and operational needs.
• Duties may include setting up and closing events or dining halls, cashier functions, coffee/barista, and welcoming guests.
• Provide consistently friendly and courteous service to guests.
• Support catering events by setting up, arranging buffet stations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing cleanup.
• Assist with marketing tasks, including signage, seasonal decorations, and food holiday communications.
• Adhere to “platinum service” customer service standards.
• Review catering and front-of-house standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and client expectations.
