Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is hiring a Hospitality & Catering Intern for Summer 2027 at 100 Bayer Boulevard, Whippany, NJ. The program is paid, with a $20.00 per hour pay rate and full-time scheduling to discuss during the interview.

The internship offers hands-on training in a dynamic hospitality culture, mentorship from experienced leaders, and exposure to events, catering, and guest services across multiple roles.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a college/university and pursuing a Hospitality Management and/or Culinary Arts degree.
• GPA requirement for Internship (as per university)
• Successful completion of Intro to Hospitality coursework
• Available to work 20-40 hours a week based on business needs & internship requirements
• College credit is not required, but documentation can be provided

Responsibilities

• Rotate through different roles depending on location and needs (events, dining halls, cashier, coffee/barista, welcoming guests).
• Provide consistently friendly and courteous service to guests.
• Support catering events by setting up, arranging buffet stations, ensuring satisfaction, and cleanup.
• Assist with marketing tasks, signage, seasonal decorations, and food holiday communications.
• Adhere to platinum service standards and review front‑of‑house standards and policies
