Job summary

Union Home Mortgage’s L.E.A.D. Internship Program in Strongsville, OH offers a hands-on summer experience for interns to learn about the industry, work 40 hours a week for 3 months, and be mentored by senior leadership while developing professional skills.

The Foundation Intern will support grantmaking, corporate giving, and events, coordinating Intern Day of Service, volunteer opportunities, donor communications, and social media with the Marketing team.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a college degree in a related field.
• Junior or Senior standing required.
• Experience volunteering and passion for community engagement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing logistics for the Intern Day of Service and related events.
• Researching and organizing volunteer opportunities for employees across regions.
• Assisting with planning and execution of company events (galas, donation drives, regional events).
• Preparing solicitation, thank-you, and grant letters to donors and partners.
• Collaborating with Foundation on-site visits and CSR trends research.
• Assisting with social media content planning in coordination with Marketing.
• Contributing to internal communications materials.
