Job summary

Stacy Witbeck is seeking an Intern in Construction Management based at the Alameda headquarters. The role supports field engineers and project management to keep projects on time and within budget, with duties spanning planning, documentation, and cost tracking.

The internship offers hands-on experience with CAD tools, field coordination, and exposure to estimating, submittals, RFIs, and change orders across various locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors of Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a four-year college.
• Able to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
• Able to write presentations and articles with clear arguments and visuals.
• Ability to use CAD software.
• Ability to apply calculus, algebra, and statistics basics.

Responsibilities

• Direct and plan the efforts of others and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Train individuals on work processes and technical requirements.
• Maintain records of job progress, costs, and material usage.
• Assist in planning and scheduling of job segments.
• Investigate problems and propose solutions or alternatives.
• Review plans and determine material quantities and pricing.
