Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking construction project management/field interns to join our project teams across all offices. This entry-level internship supports Project Management, Superintendent, and/or Preconstruction tracks for students pursuing construction-related degrees.

Interns assist with administration, field engineering, supervision, and documentation, including procurement of materials and quality control.

Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of project documents.
• Experience supporting construction project teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, coordinate, maintain, and understand construction drawings and specs.
• Assist in developing and maintaining submittal logs, logs and RFI responses.
• Learn to review shop drawings and submittals.
• Assist in updating the project schedule.
• Utilize project management software.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
• Assist in obtaining project closeout documentation.
• Support safety orientations and inspections.
• Follow directions and contribute to team tasks.
