Job summary

Charles Pankow Builders Ltd seeks an Intern Engineer in Oakland, CA to join a fast-paced project team. Under supervision, you will translate and coordinate construction documents for field use and support the Superintendent to implement buildable plans.

You will assist in developing 3-week look ahead schedules using Lean tools, coordinate subcontractors, and manage daily site records including RFIs, submittals, and diaries. A Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field is in progress.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field in progress.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate and coordinate project document information for field use.
• Coordinate subcontractor work and self-performed tasks.
• Assist with 3-week look ahead scheduling using Lean tools.
• Assist Superintendent with equipment scheduling and material deliveries.
• Maintain jobsite records: logs, RFIs, submittals, diaries, change management.
