Job summary

Sanford Health in Minnesota is offering an Associate EMT pathway funded by the Minnesota Earn While You Learn Grant. Selected candidates are hired as Associate EMTs and work as Sanford Health employees while completing their EMT education.

Participants earn an hourly wage during classes with full tuition coverage. After licensure, opportunities for PRN, part-time, or full-time EMT positions may be available depending on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current valid driver's license, and must meet medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers.

Responsibilities

• Attend the 8-week EMT course as administered by Sanford Health Emergency Medical Services Education (SHEMSE).
• Complete Sanford's orientation and tasks concurrently with the EMT course and up until obtaining state licensure.
