Job summary

nVent's Environmental, Health, and Safety Internship offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting, supporting safety programs, environmental compliance, training, data reporting, and continuous improvement projects. This role will help you develop practical EHS knowledge while contributing to a strong safety culture at nVent.

Based in Anoka, MN or Blaine, MN, interns are paid $22 per hour for time worked and may be offered a subsequent internship or full-time opportunity based on

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
Eligible for a 12-week Full-Time Summer internship in 2027 in MN.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Assist with workplace safety inspections and audits.
Support hazard identification and risk assessment activities.
Participate in incident investigations and corrective action tracking.
Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend improvements.
Help maintain safety documentation, records, and metrics.
Assist in developing safety communications and training materials.
